Alain Zarembowitch
Alain Zarembowitch is the founder and CEO of Mobile Satellite Services Corporation, the company better known by its product brands ComBlock (rapid prototyping communication modules at www.ComBlock.com) and 100dimensions Internet TV (www.100dimensions.com).
An engineering builder at heart, Alain has designed scores of unique, innovative, state-of-the-art communication devices used by system integrators worldwide.
For the last two years, Alain's new focus has been the development of 100dimensions, a comprehensive Internet TV distribution system to bring high-quality Internet shows directly to TVs.
Prior to starting MSS in 1994, Alain has been a systems design engineer in the field of satellite and wireless telecommunications at Alcatel Espace headquarters (Courbevoie, France), at the European Space Agency (Noordwijk, the Netherlands), at the Japanese Space Agency (Tsukuba, Japan), and at Comsat (Clarksburg, Maryland).
Alain holds two patents on VLSI implementation of spread-spectrum acquisition circuit, and VLSI implementation of PSK demodulator. He holds a M.S in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
