MSS (Mobile Satellite Services) Corporation was founded in 1993 and is incorporated in the state of Maryland.
MSS focuses on the design, manufacturing and installation of communication equipment for wireless, satellite, cable and test applications.
MSS is organized along three business activities:
ComBlocks: a large gamut of low-cost, off-the-shelf, modular and flexible communication modules. ComBlocks are distributed directly through the www.comblock.com internet web site. 43 ComBlock models are currently available.
[New: starting in 2005]. ComGear: rapid-delivery communication equipment. Customization is generally possible. Typical delivery time is 2 weeks or less. ComGear equipment is distributed directly through the www.ComGear.us internet web site.
Custom communication equipment reference designs for commercial customers desiring to manufacture and market products under their own label. MSS designs include general aviation satellite receiver, satellite-based car radio receiver, satellite modems, hubs/gateways interconnecting satellite networks to the terrestrial telephone/data networks and network management stations.
