Plug-in card provides FPGA-based ComBlock modules access to 10Gigabit Ethernet Network
- Network side: SFP+ connector for plugging in a short or long range SFP+ 10G transceiver (optical or twisted pair). The SFP+ transceiver is not included
- FPGA side: 4 XAUI lanes. The card edge connector plugs in directly into the COM-1800 FPGA development platform
- MAC and IP stack functionality to be implemented in the external FPGA
- Free ready-to-use binary (.ngc) code for 10GbE Ethernet MAC to run on the COM-1800 FPGA development platform
