40-pin connector displayed in the specifications seem like the mirror image of the actual connector
Throughout the ComBlock documentation, the connectors are displayed with A row on the left, B row on the right, 1 on the top, 20 at the bottom. This convention makes it easier to check for compatibility between ComBlock modules.
Another convention on all ComBlock modules is that row B is always the top one, row A the bottom one. Column 1 is always on top (towards the DB9 serial connector).
As a result, the connector representation in the specifications is not always identical to a connector top view. When in doubt, please compare with the mechanical drawing which should indicate where rows and columns A, B, 1, 20 are.
