This page includes the settings for frequently used or representative ComBlock assemblies. An assembly can be easily configured by using the 'Import' feature of the ComBlock Control Center. Each setting comprises a settings file (.stn) and a short textual description.
Most settings files are also available on the ComBlock CD delivered with all orders.
The latest generation of ComBlocks is best configured using the user-friendly graphical interface instead of the more complex hexadecimal control registers.
Note 1:
In order to import a setting, the hardware configuration has to match exactly (same number of ComBlocks, same port arrangement).
Note 2:
The settings file (.stn) is a text file which can be read using text editors (Notepad, MS Word, etc).
Note 3:
The (serial/LAN/USB) cable for communication between the assembly and the ComBlock Control Center is always connected to the first (leftmost) ComBlock.
